I want my whole face back
My  nose, mouth and cheeks.
Take me away with you
to old hang outs, and new places
unmasked
without  cover.
 I long to ask
When can we embrace all our friends,
not fall 20 feet back.
I long for the end of this protracted plague.
Where folks all around are diseased and depraved,
who can only aspire to be
public enemy number one
 notorious,
the unseen unraveled exquisitely,
 ingloriously, totally undone,,
I am a new breed of, pestilence,
The next generation, updated human disease. ...
Whatever I am, it's making a scene
We;ll put the V back in going Viral.
Here comes a new crop of pathogens.
we;re the boomers now who sit in the bleachers
keeping an eye on you from out of these shadows.
Death surrounds you. I have witnessed the damage with my own senses.
There is little you could say or do to change my mind..

 blood clots,
 pneumonia,
a stroke, or heart attack
Coast into your final rest
Gone into a deep sleep
But, wait, you wake up
it was a lung disease.
Making us unable to talk or to breathe
I long for an uncovered, expressive
most beautiful symettrical human face.
a skull shaped by heaven
Rosy cheeks to embrace...
. A wink, and a bright smile
a, vibrant, sentient face
locked away behind a latex vault
Starving for
food for my soul , a jewel and a treasure
gone from my table
replaced by the differently abled.

If I could end this tragedy,
find the culprit who put the
pepper in my salt.
I'd give you all I have
to  live facially free..
the Russian Roullete of it
is a mere 5% will die unsheathed
according to the CDC
 living costs big money,
while dying is cheap .

 Merchants with Robes
are hard selling brain death
as restful, relaxing, deep sleep...

We, the living suffer unease
of the man in the mask..
My face remains my property
a personal asset which no one can seize.
I'm taking my face back
I demand to defeat
your Captain and his Ministers
of your veiled deceit.

I need a soft smile without shame or evasion
Unmask us, release us
from your privacy invasion. .
I'm on to your game...
My face is my signature.
Like my last name
We want our faces back.
It's time we took you to task.
release us from the drudge
of your moon shaped cloth mask
.
