Hey I'm sitting in my computer class bored out of my mind with nothing better to do.
Here is a translated excerpt from The Misanthropist by my favourite french playwright, Molière.
Scene I, Act II
Alcest speaks:
Your lovers? miss, you need no stick to beat them
But just a heart that won't so sweetly greet them
I know your beauty follows you each place;
Your welcome charms all those that meet your gaze,
It's sweetness shown to all with open arms
Does conquer all their hearts with your fair charms.
The hope you do present them with, you see,
Brings all about you their assiduity;
And your complaisance, if you less allowed,
Would bar away the thronging suitors crowd.
But really tell me, which one, and be true,
He is whom you do love, who pleases you.
