 Poems for Lovers and Sinners

Night Lover

I remember the night wind blowing in…

through my window, so cold and extremely exciting

was this a dream or reality standing before me?

A figure in black…those eyes, oh those eyes,

from another world, another time and space.

Mesmerizing me tantalizing my inner soul…

he wanted it, all of it, and wouldn't take a NO!

Suddenly he lay beside me, whispering words

that I didn't know, didn't understand, but liked –

I was innocent to such things of his world.

As he told me I was his, I whispered yes take me -

I was bewildered and excited with this thing…or MAN

I felt a sharp pain in my neck and Death approaching!

my lifeblood was being drained away within the shadows

this fiend slowly disappeared, I was left exhausted and felt

dispensed of – But I wanted more, so waited for his RETURN.
