Christmas
Christmas doesn't feel like Christmas
Where is the snow and cold temps?
It'll come after the new year arrives
For I can see it already; it will come
January 2022 will be a rough month
I pray not for it's going to be busy!
I don't mind the warm temps
Just not for Christmas Eve or Day
I love walking in the snow
But I dislike the ice
I don't mind the cold temps
I just don't want to fall on the ice
Christmas is almost here,
Can you believe it?
The time has flown fast
Bye bye 2021; Hello 2022
New Year's Day is coming
Oh what a time to stay home!
It's time to count the blessings
And sadly the calories too
New year, new diet plan
I pray to stick to it this year
No new year resolutions
Not making one this coming year
I hope the time will slow
On Christmas Eve and Day
Before we all know it,
Hello 2022; Goodbye 2021
