Three, two, one...

A Baby Year, a New Beginning,

Auld Lang Syne, raised voices singing,

Final minute, count the seconds,

Three, two, one, the future beckons.

A Baby Year, a kindergarten,

Resolutions, kept or pardoned,

364 to 365, a weary year,

A glad goodbye.

A Baby Year, lungs full of hope,

A cry of joy upon the stroke,

Of twelve o’ clock, a timely toast,

I raise my glass, God bless, mine host.
