I write not just for me
But for all who have lost
Feeling no chance to recover

The pain is immeasurable
When a loved one receives God's call

Nights slower still
Your want to move beyond
Life no longer at your will
The days come and go
As do the long nights
You feel no will of your own
As you struggle thru life's flight
But
Lean upon our Lord
And draw the strength He gives
Each day you will find
Life is not so hard to live
Life does move on
Days and nights get lighter
The sun from behind clouds
Begins to shine brighter
Your memories
Go from painful
As you remember
Life so beautiful
The remembered joy returns
That grief savagely steals
Memories made together
Is all that's really real
So hold on tight and always remember
With grief it's something you learn to do
