You Can Oh Yes You Can (RE-EDITED 1/9/2021 12:07AM PST time and date stamped.)

three crows flew by
their tail feathers unzipping
the sky
and all the blue fell out
like robin's eggshells
crushed and falling in Spring

uncommon January weather
the putty colored skies
decided for themselves--
no more malingering

you can imagine Hell
you can conjure Heaven
you can make of bread dough
any molded and panned result
a consequence
or commbined basic ingredients
is it
our
your failures that tell you/us
lies?

Crows have always been songbirds
just as Robins are
and
bluer skies hide behind grey skies

you can choose to button up
any instance of possibility
or you can choose to unzip
the sky and fly

don't rely on good luck
nor chance
nor some later dryer day
nor consider you require
the ambition of crows
to imagine a better day

you can
because its within you
you can
because you're here and you're alive
even when it seems too dire
a simpler solution just to die

you can
I can and will tell you
you can
you don't need anyone's permission slip

you can
move forward you don't have to sign a thing
nor  repeat it often
listen to hw
your heart infroms you
otherwise
with its beating wings
not its lies

you can
because anyone can paint a difference
you can because you're not a serf or boss then
you can because
you  can and can't let others whittel you down
to their description
nor insistance

and you can
because the night falls after the day
and continues and continues forward on

you can because
you say so to yourself each morning
your opinion mattersm
look into your mirror
consult your spirit
and rev up your engine

you are the mountain rising upwards
robins flying south
all your wing's remembered winters
and the sense of release and relief behind them
helping you to align with
the courage of your convictions

see how you can lasso
the howling green werewolves
banish the tears between the nightmares...
to witness the cobalt Blue  unzipped
away from earthly cares and
cradled within cummulo nimbus
and cumulo stratus
to join the universe
to be transformed to be the sky.
