I don't want you to burn-out on me

I'd do all in my power,

My sweet gentle flower,

I'd walk over hot coals for relief,

I'd ride horses through fire,

I'd stoke Hell if required,

I don't want you to burn-out on me.

I'd do all in my power,

Sweet devotion,

I'd face raging seas in my boat,

I might lose both my oars,

I might fall overboard,

I don't want you to burn-out on me.

I'd do all in my power,

Sweet salvation,

I'd battle the tempest for thee,

You'll know that I'm there,

By the wind in your hair,

I don't want you to burn-out on me.
