While There Is Still Time
While There Is Still Time
Written two years ago
and purposely waited until today
to publish... And yet here we are
still plagued with the same hate.
We all stand now
So tattered and torn
With all the hate
In hearts that's born
I believe he has
A love so true
For this country
Of the red white and blue
We cannot become
A lost ship at sea
Passing it to children
Of you and me
Hate is the most
Destructive evil of all
If we don't shed
It will be our last call
Justice has been declared
Regardless of agreement or not
The task now at hand
Is unity for all to be sought
So many worry that outside evils
Will be our great down fall
But It's the evil that breeds within
That will be our final call
Let us all unite
No all wont get their way
But the road we now walk
Without change will be a hard pay
So bury the hatchet
And reach across lines
We must unite as one
While there is still time

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
