Before He formed you in the womb, He blessed you before you were born; Laid out plans through life till the tomb, While on earth that you sojourn. I do not know just how to speak, For I am only in my youth; I have not learned how I should seek, In finding out just what is truth. But I should not say as a youth, For to all to whom He has sent; What He commands be not uncouth, Rather to know of the intent. Do not be afraid about them, Because the Lord will deliver; He assures that He will condemn, Since they follow the deceiver. The Lord touched my mouth with His hand, Into my mouth He put His Word; Everything that He would demand, So my ears able to have heard. He set this day over nations, To pluck up while breaking down; For becoming new creations, In building and plant a new town. Copyright ©2022 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
