THE SUDDEN LIGHT FLASHING OVERHEAD AS A SWITCH IS FLIPPED ON
OVERHEAD IN YOUR HEAD
I HAVE STOOD ROOTED TO THE SPOT
MY BLOOD ICED OVER
GOOGLE-EYED AND MY MOUTH
FROZEN INTO A PERMANENT "O"
DID I SUDDENLY SPLIT
BECOME TWO-PERSONED
ONE OF ME GAZING IN FROM THE OUTSIDE
THE OTHER GAZING OUT FROM WITHIN...
AND WHO'S FINDING HER WAY???
DID THE WINDOW BECOME A TESS-ERECT
AN OPEN WINDOW
THE MEAN TO DISCOVER THE IMPLAUSIBLE?
TIME TRAVELING IN THE GLASS
BETWEEN MY SELVES.
