You have been our dwelling place,
Before the mountains were brought forth;
Always showing mercy and grace,
In all generations from the source.
You had formed this place we call earth,
Everlasting eternally;
Fruitful to multiply through birth,
You are the Lord supernally.
You return man back into dust,
Returning them back to their roots;
For the destruction of their lust,
Pleasure caused by immoral fruits.
For a thousand years in your sight,
But as yesterday in the past;
Or while watching in the night.
You sweep away as with a flood,
As though that they are like a dream;
Like grass that is renewed by blood,
While it is flowing down the stream.
In the morning it flourishes,
In the evening it withers;
But the sunrise that nourishes,
And movement of a snake slithers.
We are brought to an end by wrath,
By Your anger we are dismayed;
Troubles that iare crossing my path,
Because the fact we disobeyed.
Our iniquities before You,
Our secret sins in Your light;
For You have known what we construe,
The desires that are not right.
