Since by faith we are justified,
We have peace with God through the Lord;
Our Lord who was crucified,
For us to be in one accord.
By faith in Him we have access,
Into this grace in which we stand;
In our hope as we confess,
Of His glory over this land.
We rejoice in the suffering,
For suffering gives endurance;
Since Jesus consoles through buffering,
Producing hope for assurance.
For hope does not put us to shame,
His love pours into our heart;
Since through His Spirit we proclaim,
In giving His Word to impart.
Because while we were still weak,
And when we were yet without force;
In due time it was right to seek,
Christ who died to chart a new course.
Just for a righteous man to die,
By chance for a good man would dare;
The transgression of sinners cry,
Making confession as to share.
By His blood we are justified,
Being saved by Him from the wrath;
Enables us if we abide,
On the straight and narrow path.
While we were still enemies,
To God we were reconciled;
Hearing a confession of pleas,
He purified where defiled.
We rejoice in God through our Lord,
By whom we received repentance;
So we can be in one accord,
In being blessed in His presence.
