I give thanks unto the Lord, Mentioning you in my prayers; For you have loved and adored, Since you know God really cares. Remember without ceasing, Of faith and labor of love; Steadfastness that is pleasing, To God your Father above. For we have patience of hope, In our Lord and savior; Through this life while we cope, And blesses with His favor. For we know that He chose you. The Gospel came as His Word; Full conviction to construe, From His Spirit you have heard. You became imitators, Through the Word with affliction; Insults from agitators, In speaking contradiction. You are now an example, To some other believers; A model for the Gospel, So they can be receivers. Not only for sounding out, But also your faith in God; Alleviate any doubt, Why you do honor and laud. They show us the reception, How you averted idols; Steering you toward redemption, So fire in soul kindles.
