Because Jesus Lives
Because Jesus lives, I can face today
I'll keep focus on my Lord and Savior
And not worry about tomorrow
For tomorrow can worry about itself
I'll keep my eyes on Lord Jesus
He is the way, truth, and the life
His Word is like a lamp unto my feet
Jesus Christ is the Light of the world
I will pick up and carry my cross daily
And I will worship and praise Him
I will call upon the Name of Jesus
And I will put my trust in Him
Because Jesus lives, I can face today
Today is the day that the Lord has made
And I will be glad and rejoice in it
So I don't have to worry about tomorrow
I will praise God on the highest mountain
And I will praise God in the lowest valley
I will worship God on the mountain top
And I will worship God in the lowest valley
In the day or in the night
God is always there for me
In the rain or in the sunshine
God is always there for me
Because Jesus lives, I can face today

I will follow my God where He leads me
For my God is always there for me
