I love and long for,
My joy and my crown;
Standing fast much more,
The Lord I renown.
I bid to agree,
My true companion;
Unto His decree,
From His dominion.
I sweat side by side,
Same mind with the Lord;
While I abide,
And in one accord.
I preach the Gospel,
For the Book of Life;
To save the people,
In the midst of strife.
Rejoice in the Lord,
For I say rejoice;
Abide in His Word,
In both mind and voice.
Let it be reason,
Be known as relief;
Commit no treason,
But follow belief.
The Lord is at hand,
Anxious for nothing;
Waiting where you stand,
What Heaven will bring.
Ask the Lord through prayer,
Through supplication;
The requests you share,
For vindication.
For the peace of God,
For guarding your heart;
Letting your mind laud,
His Word to impart.
