Short of the glory of God
From us the devil tries to rob,
Just know the Bible says we all have sin and come up short of the glory of God.
So, the devil keeps trying to steal our souls,
which he wants to forever have of it to hold.
He will wait a long, long time,
until he can say it is mine.
God will not let him win,
if you do your best not to again sin.
So, if in God we trust,
he will always fight for us.
So, as we wait to go home,
just know we are never alone.
