Pay attention all of you,
O earth, all that is in it;
Be a witness what is true,
Against what you do merit.
The Lord comes out of His place,
Tread upon places on earth;
The righteous will see His grace,
In glory showing true worth.
The mountains melt under Him,
As the valleys split open;
And the fire becomes dim,
Water pouring to dampen.
All this is for transgression,
For all the sins of your land;
No one pleads their confession,
Been leaving scars on your hand.
God will make this place a heap.
A place for planting vineyards;
A valley for herding the sheep,
Protecting them from hazards.
Graven images broken,
Wages shall burn in fire;
Laying waste what is spoken,
That harlots would desire.
What does the Lord require,
Justly act to love mercy;
Humbly what you desire,
That causes controversy.
