Seek for the Lord and live,
For thus as He will say;
Confess He will forgive,
Trusting Him and obey.
Do not seek in Bethel,
Do not enter Gilgal;
Rather to the temple,
Worship the Lord you shall.
Go into exile,
That would come to nothing;
Not changing lifestyle,
No purpose will it bring.
Seek the Lord as to live,
Let He breaks out fire;
Sin makes you a captive,
Yielding to desire.
Turn justice to wormwood;
Casting down righteousness;
Could be a likelihood,
Avoiding holiness.
The Lord turns the dark night,
Into the morning dawn;
Brightening through daylight,
As the darkness is gone.
As waters of the sea,
Will pour onto the land;
Tides and waves tossing free,
Caused by His breath and hand.
Death comes against the strong.
Ruins of their fortress;
Their lifestyle is wrong,
Not seeking to confess.
