 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Fear not, O land and be glad,
For the Lord has done great things;
No need for you to be sad,
For all the goodness He brings.

Fear not you beasts of the field,
Be not afraid and wallow,
Nourish from pastures that yield,
Tasting delight to swallow.

All the trees bearing their fruits,
The grapevines ripened to reap;
Seeking nourishment from roots,
That have driven down very deep.

Be glad children of Zion,
As you rejoice in the Lord;
Fear not about the lion,
The beast is in one accord.

God gave you abundant rain,
Rain for a vindication;
Showers for cleansing the stain,
For the beautification.

The threshing floors full of grain,
Vats shall overflow with wine;
A luscious fertile terrain,
Needing thanks to the Divine.

The Lord will restore for you,
The years that the locust ate;
A great army that did chew,
That had tried to seal your fate.

You will have plenty to eat,
God will make you satisfied;
Worship the Lord who is great,
And His Law is justified.

You will not be put to shame,
Being dealt with wondrously;
So continue to proclaim,
For living spiritually.
