Show no partiality,
Holding faith of our Lord;
Showing hospitality,
His glory be not ignored.
If a man wears a gold ring,
As a poor man enters in;
Which one to the front you bring,
As a favoritism sin.
For if you pay attention,
From the one to another;
What would be your intention,
Being fond of which brother.
Have you not made distinction,
Being judge of evil thoughts;
Showing one more affection,
In scheming with hidden plots.
Has not God chosen the poor,
To be rich in faith and heirs;
Which has promised to assure,
About the love that He shares.
But of the poor are despised,
When the wealthy do oppress;
Since he has cheated and lied,
For bringing him his success.
Do they not blaspheme the name,
The worthy of who was called;
The reason why Jesus came,
To cure the one who is flawed.
