Who is as the wise man,
Interprets of a thing;
Wisdom to know the plan,
God is willing to bring.
Wisdom makes His face shine,
Softness changes His face;
Glory from the Divine,
Is shining of His grace.
Keep the Law of the King,
Commands regarding oath;
For goodness it will bring,
For your spiritual growth.
Hurry not from His sight,
Stand not in evil cause;
For the pleasure that might,
In making you grow flaws.
For the word of the King,
Has power as supreme;
Guards you under His wing,
Protection to extreme.
Whoso keeps a command,
Shall know no evil thing;
Wise heart led by His hand,
Avoids what fate will bring.
There is a time and way,
Though trouble lies heavy;
Misery from each day,
Some others would envy.
He knows not what to be,
Knowing not how to retain;
The day of death to see,
His spirit to obtain.
For no discharge from war,
That evil delivers;
Since it causes a scar,
Horrors causing shivers.
You observe from your heart,
As done under the sun;
As power can depart,
Seen by the Holy One.
