 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Never unto us, O Lord,
But give glory to Your name;
Steadfast love in one accord,
Your faithfulness to proclaim.

For the mercy of Your grace,
Our God is in Heaven;
The heathens cannot replace,
All of which He has given.

He does all that He pleases,
But idols are made by men;
Causing mental diseases,
Gold and silver for their yen.

They have mouths but do not speak,
They have eyes but cannot see;
They do not know how to seek,
They do not know how to plea.

They have ears but do not hear,
With a nose that cannot smell;
In You, O Lord, they not fear,
Because their home is in hell.

They have hands but do not feel,
They have feet but do not walk;
Thinking You, Lord are not real,
And they constantly will mock.

Those who make them as like them,
So do all who in them trust;
I know You Lord will condemn,
For their lifestyle and lust.
