As The Older I Get
As The Older I Get
There are days I wonder
Oh mercy how did I get here so fast
Looking back life can be a blur
While memories made forever last
Oh and the ones held so tight
That sadly were loved and lost
In looking back…Yes those were
At too great a cost
While the pain remembered
Tarnish not my memories
The good out-weighs the bad
As proven by past history
The friends over the years
Some remain too many gone
Is but part of the melody
Of my life's song
Each step of life
Had meaning for sure
Remember the love given
From those so pure
If given the chance
My steps to retrace
Nope, Not on a bet
I have found my place
Enjoy today… It's here but just a moment
Yesterday gone… Tomorrow not yet
Oh the many lessons realized
As The Older I Get
~ Lyrics ~
And the older I get
The better I am
Knowing when to give
And when to just not give a damn

ღ God asked me
How long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
