My heart it races
My heart it races just for thee,
My own true love, my reverie,
My wild distraction, comely muse,
My everything, my earth, my moon.
My heart it races just for thee,
Spurred on by love's short summer's lease,
My wild obsession, naked flame,
My prize of kisses, mine to claim.
My heart it races just for thee,
You brim my cup with ecstasy,
My crush, my rush, my Rubicon,
Where would I be without your love?
