I saw the new Heaven and earth,
For the old ones had passed away;
Since land and sea consumed its worth,
The occupants did disobey.
I saw the new Jerusalem,
As it came down out of Heaven;
Brightly shined as a speculum,
The bride the Father has given.
From the throne I heard a loud voice,
The dwelling place of God with man;
Angels and people did rejoice,
For the unfolding of His plan.
Christ will wipe away every tear,
Death and sorrow shall be no more;
No mourning or pain shall one fear,
No more temptation that would lure.
And Christ was seated on the throne,
Who was making everything new;
All things created on His own,
For it is trustworthy and true.
The Alpha and Omega be,
Is the beginning and the end;
Quenching water for the thirsty,
Hand of friendship He does extend.
The one who conquers inherits,
Being with the Father and Son;
Through all their faith and their merits,
Along with the Spirit as one.
But cowards, faithless, liars,
Murderers and idolaters;
Will burn in the lake of fires,
With the sexual predators.
