What a Politican
We have seen some of the sides of the politician
Who has taken politics as a chosen profession
Even when they have reached a certain age
Some of them only death can take them off the stage
Let us take a look a world's famous legislature
The sight of them give no hope for the future
Many around are under the impression it has that tone
Of what you will see, on visiting an old people's home
Some of them seem to no type of inclination
Of making a contribution, just that of frustration
Having in their minds that by the tick of the clock
Some things are going nowhere as there shall be a roadblock
By doing so they are just inflicting pain
Being sitting there so long, this years being retained
This should have hopefully allowed them to create a safety nest
So they can live off a pension and assets thy invest
But how addicting is this thing called power
As it seems to occupy that mind each waking hour
Readily neglecting those constituents needs
Genuflecting to those businesses, as the they provide campaign proceeds
Then there is that blatant show of greed
Those people only to one request tend to accede
Only for themselves so there is no qualms or regret
As they see it only for what they can get
Now we have seen something that is so dangerous
Some men have become emasculated, and so obsequious
Going way pass the baseline, since it is the lowest to get
But what would they think, if their children see them behaving like puppets
It is quite noticeable the way some fall in line
To the beliefs and thoughts of a person like if he was devine
A great mathematician whose expert calculation
Has proven that he had enough to have won an election
This episode had now let the whole world see
The great distribution of gullibility and rampant stupidity
That had now enveloped a very powerful country
As those in noted professions, sycophants and other follow on happily
