Yes be aware
How many times this is us universally debated
As some present arguments that at are so updated
Other arrogant, maybe ignorant or just ignore
What is happening right in front their door
Those informed now come to fear
That dangers posed by that fraction in the ozone layer
Ultra violet rays now will pose that danger
Catalysing reactions for dangerous chemicals, and increased skin cancer
That increasing presence of green house gases
Have increased temperatures in many places
Even have an effect on that polar ice cap
And they are melting because of this attack
This will cause a swelling of the water in the ocean
Thus presenting a situation for future devastation
Now there is the feeling that soon or later
The shoreline will be soon overwhelmed by water
Everywhere there are signs of great development
Happily we sit comfortably in that upscale apartment
Becoming do relaxed in that artificial atmosphere
Seemingly oblivious to what is happening there
Enjoying like the others the cool and being comfortable
The purring motor, the coolant so responsible
Their combined action, and products of that reaction
Between them has not contributed to the air's pollution
As time goes by they dangers are escalating
And of course to in we are readily participating
This now can pose a nerve racking question
Is this what we plan to leave to the coming generation
