When Christ appeared as a high priest,
That having come of the good things;
Through the greater more perfect feast,
Not made by hands of what it brings.
He entered in the holy place,
Not by the means of blood that flows;
But blood on the cross gave us grace,
From confession God only knows.
For if blood of the goats and bulls,
Sprinkling of defiled people;
Purification as it pulls,
Sanctified within the temple.
Secured eternal redemption,
Allowing the Holy Spirit;
With fleshy purification,
Enables you to inherit.
How much more will the blood of Christ,
Who through the eternal Spirit;
Without blemish and not enticed,
Purges conscience through your merit.
