BE OF GOOD CHEER. """"""""""""""""""""""""""""" Written by S C Mitchell 23rd May 2022 """"""""""""""""""""""""""""" The LORD didn't promise That life would always be easy My friends - but He promised that He would Be near - and He tells us - to lift - our heads up in Triumph - and always - to be of good cheer - for He has Overcome the world with its troubles - and His mercies Each day - are brand new - and when we look back On the journey we've travelled - we can see - The many times - how the hand of Our God - brought us Through. Yes - He has brought us Through many dangers - and many days Of darkness and fear - but - our Saviour has Broken the power of death and the Grave - and again He says - be of good cheer - for no matter what's Gone before us - and the days that may Still be ahead - He tells us to walk Boldly into the future - and Not give in to panic Or dread . For the things of this world Are all temporal - and one day - they Will all pass away - and every male and female Will give an account - when they meet with their Maker One day - but - in the meantime - God calls us to Be faithful - and trust in His Word - without Fear - and stand united in love by His Spirit - and - throughout all - He Still says to us - be of Good cheer . Yes - be of good cheer Precious children - and don't fret - or Grumble - or frown - for God's people are Blessed beyond measure - and His faithful love will not Let us down - so - praise Him for His goodness and Mercy - and even the times - when He may not

Valleys - my friends - He exhorts us to Stand strong - and to be of Good cheer """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" It seems like every day we are going from one crisis to the next .. but for those who know the Lord as their Saviour .. He tells not to give in to fear .. because He has overcome the world through His death on the cross .. And Jesus tells us that we too can be more than conquerers as we put our trust in Him ..
