Disbelief

I want to tell all you people
My very sad story:
A mate bought his Council House
And started voting Tory.
If I wasn't such a cynic
I might have got annoyed.
Another did the same
When he went self employed.

Another on Zero Hours
Regularly gives thanks
As he makes his weekly visit
To a local Food Bank.
They all vote Tory
Because each one believes
They are better served by
A government of thieves.

All in it together Britain,
Poverty rife at large
With convicted criminal
Still left in charge.
Anywhere but Britain It would
Be considered rather sinister:
A liar and a cheat allowed
To continue as Prime Minister.
