The Gun Again

There are many who support the second amendment
To them this have brought some form of enjoyment
Perhaps may have bear some type of responsibility
That have bought families such a grave tragedy

First there must cure this culture of hate
Whose seeds have been sown heavily of late
Don't have a discussion and be in opposition
This will be settled with a blast from a weapon

Why is it that at twenty-one or older
You can without fear buy your liquor
But someone who is a few years younger
Can have the previlidge to become a gun owner

What sort of example set by some political arena
Whose behaviour is somewhat of an enigma
In some instances made videos using a gun
Apparently blasting at a member of the opposition

Of course this behaviour, and rancour
On those with the simple and gullible mind will register
And so they would get some degree of satisfaction
If they remove from society a certain section

Look at this guy who went on the attack
Selecting and shooting only those who were black
Age did was not a factor in this rampage
Only colour was motive as he carry out carnage

This other one will make the feeling so sadden
Because there was this shooting of children
Who candles were put out so prematurely
Leaving the family to grieve so agonizingly

When are those law makers going to take
Any actions for their electors sake
And bring to the table some form of legislation
That may ease the tension in the population

Many of them seem to get some form of contribution
From the coffers of the representative organisation
And now trapped between the deep sea and the devil
Hope they can remember the saying what is the root of all evil

What some at interview and their performance
Look so pathetic at the pretext of ignorance
Trying to make the interviewer seem political
And it was quite obvious the question had him rattled

But this would make them go to the legislature
And there would be anger and lots of displeasure
If something like this ever was to happy
To any of their family members and their children
