I give thanks to our God,
Always because of His grace;
To whom we honor and laud,
And then we feel His embrace.
What He has given in Christ,
Everything you were enriched;
By which He was sacrificed,
From Pagan to Christian switched.
Through the knowledge and wisdom,
Enriched by Him as you speak;
Discover through His Kingdom,
Everything that you may seek.
As testimony of Christ,
Being confirmed amongst you;
In a gift that has enticed,
About our Lord is true.
You are not lacking a gift,
Will be revealed as you wait;
That your spirit will uplift,
When you see Christ at the gate.
Who sustains you to the end,
Guiltless on the Judgment Day;
The Lord as brother and friend,
To whom we honor and obey.
God is faithful who has called,
In fellowship with His Son;
His Spirit cleanses where flawed,
Eternity has begun.
