Beware of retribution
How often in one's silence tend to question
The manner in which there is that making of a decision
It may be blatant, or done so tacitly
That in the end it works for you beneficially
We can conclude the somewhere deep inside
In all of us a degree of selfishness reside
And of course when presented with the opportunity
It is number one that in the mind, most certainly
Of course there is that verse in the Bible where the master
Questioned those around if they are their brother's keeper
But some would have no intention or desire
If by doing such, the brother's life becomes better
Now take that look at a person the politician
Whom we promote to power with an election
Being wooed, flattered, even infatuated by promises
But once elected, there is now that shift
When there is time for some actio
On issues that require their support and attention
Then there will be such a very great disappointment
That the representative is now in dissent
How can they be now do very remiss
When it comes to keep that campaign promise
They do not mind a little falling from grace
Because it is better being locked in the financier's embrace
Fresh on the minds is the recent shootings
How stupidly they side stepped the problems
How those geniuses provide such and insight
But none seem to be what the people like
Such a behaviour display that air that they do not care
Some may say, look at there ethnicity of the once who suffered there
But someday they may show that concern
When they are in a similar situation, and have to mourn
