I rejoice in the Lord,
At length I have revived;
Let it not be ignored,
I have boldly survived.
Not that I am in need,
As speaking in respect;
And content without greed,
The Gospel I reflect.
Whatever state I am,
I learned to be content;
Relying on the Lamb,
For grace as I repent.
I know when I am low,
I know how to rebound;
To spiritually grow,
For His grace feels profound.
I have learned the secret,
Both abundance and need;
With the Lord no regret,
He helps me to succeed.
I can do all through Christ,
To whom has strengthened me;
Things being sacrificed,
Gives me insight to see.
Yet all is said and done,
Through any affliction;
Is shielded by the Son,
From sins of addiction.
