Poetic Verses
In flattery
Today we may here some men boast about being so strong
But how easily they can be brought to the ground
By those around them, who are held so closely
As they wind the confidence using lots of flattery
That person who is just silently observing
Will shake the head, finding it so amusing
Just seeing a person, being deceived so easily
Being swayed,by anything which suits that fancy
Now those around come to recognize this weakness
Readily spread on those pleasing words with such thickness
Knowing full well that it shall get the recognition
That will put them in such a very trustworthy position
No doubt they shall never let let that pride
Which is in the mind guide and reside
So being buttered up will never see the deception inserted
But may read it as being very highly respected
What a way to say thing to make a person glow
Is the massage that thing called an ego
Because by doing such they come to know
That whatever they asked for, there shall never be a no
But added to this there is another problem
As added to the mix is that of narcissism
Because this can in away open the person
To the desires of those around, for exploitation
As human beings, some of us realise
That we see those shortcomings, as we analyse
Each other, hoping that in some way to effect
Something to use someday for or to our benefit
