To Dads
How quickly the business community seem to pounce
Observing and then spend time and money to announce
That they are at some time offering bargains
Just ripe to suit each type of consumer spendings
We can see the crowds at Christmas and New Years
And Valentine's day this to them pays
Now added to the mixture is that reserved for mother's
And as can be seen there is the inclusion of fathers
There is this occasion that makes a child happy
To be be able to look at this man and say daddy
A person being there supporting both lovingly and financially
This brings to that little mind some stability
Those little eyes watching ad you so skilfully
Do things that look to beyond the bounds of possibility
As they become so swelled with pride and admiration
Thinking that in some way you are a special person
As they grow you have become that mentor
Not only that administrator, tutor and advisor
Now in that life such a powerful force
Those teaching and advice kept them on the right course
As always time passes and you both age
But he shall be more advanced on life's stage
There is no doubt that has prepared that scene
Now you have to make reality of your dreams
There are so many way to see that man called father
Teacher, brother, friend and in a few instances mother
Always mentally cherish too and relive that occasion
That your life was blessed by having this special person.
