ANOTHER REFRIGERATOR POEM 7/2/2022

COME DRINK
AND GO SLOWLY

THIS IS NO USELESS COMFORT
HERE
IN OUR STILL WHITE WINTER

A SWEET SADNESS IN ALL OF ME
OPENS UP
IN YOUR SMILE

I WOULD ASK THIS OF YOU

PICTURE ME
AND MY FEVER
MY ACHING VELVET
CARAMEL BODY

DO YOU SEE MY
FEROCIOUS HEART?

AND THE HARDNESS WHICH
WAS ONCE HERE
WITHIN US
NOW MELTING....

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN MAKE SENSE OUT OF RANDOM WORDS
FROM A REFRIGERATOR MAGNET SET...THESE LAST TWO ENTRIES ARE MY ATTEMPTS
