Respect who labors amongst you,
And those over you that admonish;
Esteem highly love to pursue,
Any discontent abolish.
Amongst yourselves to be at peace,
And encourage the fainthearted;
Allow patience never to cease,
Help the weak who have departed.
Repay nobody with evil,
Rather always seek to do good;
Avoiding works of the devil,
Rejoicing always as you should.
Constantly pray without ceasing,
Being thankful for everything;
As your faith in God increasing,
What His will through Jesus will bring.
Never try to quench His Spirit,
Never despising prophecies;
Remember what you inherit,
Conceive them not as fantasies.
Hold fast unto all which is good,
Abstain from all forms of evil;
Remaining faithful to God would,
Will distance you from the devil.
