CELESTIAL ETERNITY

God Knows And Sees

God Knows And Sees
Author: Mark V. Markov

God knows and sees
God knows
And sees everything.
God knows
And sees everything.

To live in the teaching
Of Jesus Christ
Is to give account before God

If someone gives
To a pastor,
Brother and sister
Or a ministry
To pass to another brother or sister in Christ
or to another ministry in need

And that pastor
Brother or sister
Or ministry
Decides to keep it for them
Or for their ministry
By not giving
Anything to the brother or sister in Christ
Or the ministry in need
Thinking that it's ok
That God doesn't mind

They need to see
The New Testament account
Of Ananias and Sapphira,
Those two decided
To cheat their brothers and sisters in Christ
And keep some of the money from them
Ending up dropping dead
Because as Apostle Peter said
They lied to God

That means
When you lie to your brothers and sisters in Christ
Keeping the money
That belongs to them
You are lying to God
And sinning against God

If God killed Ananias and Sapphira
It is a self check
For all that believe
Those that believe in God
Cannot and should not
Steal from another
Brother or sister in Christ
To take for them or their ministry
And think that its ok
That God doesn't mind

Sometimes God gives time
For people to realize
And change
while you have breath in this life
All that believe must remember
Eternity is more priceless
Then this temporary life.

God knows and sees,
God knows
And sees everything
God knows and sees,
God knows
And sees everything...

Hebrews 4:11-13 (ESV)

11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest,
so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow,
and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

13 And no creature is hidden from his sight,
but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Heberews 4:6-13 (ESV)

6 Since therefore it remains for some to enter it,
and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,

7 again he appoints a certain day, "Today," saying through David so long afterward,
in the words already quoted,

"Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts."

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.

9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,

10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.

11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

Hebrews 4:10 (ESV)

10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.

Acts 5:1-11 (ESV)

Ananias and Sapphira

1 But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property,

2 and with his wife's knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds
and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles' feet.

3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit
and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?

4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal?
Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God."

5 When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last.
And great fear came upon all who heard of it.

6 The young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him.

7 After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.

8 And Peter said to her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much."
And she said, "Yes, for so much."

9 But Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord?
Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."

10 Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last.
When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

11 And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.

Ephesians 5:6-17 (ESV)

6 Let no one deceive you with empty words,
for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

7 Therefore do not become partners with them;

8 for at one time you were darkness,
but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

9 (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),

10 and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.

11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

12 For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.

13 But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible,

14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

"Awake, O sleeper,
    and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you."

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
