Hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has claimed that "WWIII has likely started already", saying that a more widespread military conflict with Russia could now be impossible to stop following the invasion of Ukraine.

Sanctions have a devastating effect on the Russian people. Russia's economy has gone down and the long term effect on Russia will be drastic. Despite that, it has no effect on Putin's decision to occupy Ukraine by killing civilians in thousands and committing a war crime. Putin is like Hitler and so far nothing and no one has succeeded in stopping him from behaving like Hitler. Europe is united in fearing Putin and has done too little and too late to make Ukraine strong enough to defend against Putin's invasion.

Vladimir Putin will ‘destroy the world' if he is left unchecked and is ‘crazy enough' to use nukes, a Russian opposition politician has warned.
Leonid Volkov, the former chief of staff for Alexei Navalny's 2018 presidential bid, said ‘We can expect unfortunately everything' from the Russian President.
And his fears have been echoed by Poland's premier, Andrzej Duda, who believes Putin could use ‘anything' right now.
Mr Volkov told Sky News' Sophy Ridge on Sunday programme an ‘enormous cost' must be paid to stop the war.
