What music played
What music played on nights of love,
Soft footsteps in the sand,
The gentle waves that lapped the shore,
The night the pebbles sang.
What promise borne of moonlight's cast,
Upon a sea of glass,
A summer night, warm wind, soft light,
What more could lover's ask?
A silhouette of love confessed,
Two shadows in the mist,
As twilight fades, they melt away,
Her body pressed to his.
