Gather O shameless nation,
O nation not desired;
Building up a foundation,
Iniquities acquired.
 
Before the rule takes effect,
Before the day goes away;
Burning anger to affect,
Because you have gone astray.
 
For the anger of the Lord,
His wrath will come upon you;
Since you have merely ignored,
His words that are just and true.
 
Seek the Lord and be humble,
Seek righteousness through His Law;
Being meek and not grumble,
Do not cause another flaw.
 
For Gaza shall be deserted,
Ashkelon a desolation;
Because the Lord asserted,
To kill the population.
 
The seacoast inhabitants,
His Word has been against you;
Because of no penitence,
Annihilation to pursue.
 
The seacoast will have pastures,
Meadows for the folds of flocks;
As shepherds build their structures,
Places to where the Lord talks.
 
The coast becomes the remnant,
Gaze at the sunset where they lie;
Tranquility and content,
The peacefulness in their eye.
 
For the Lord will be mindful,
And will restore their fortunes;
Because He is so thoughtful,
No more evil intentions
