As you receive Christ as your Lord,
Root as you are walking with Him;
Establish faith in one accord,
Building up your spiritual vim.
Just the same way that you were taught,
With abounding in thanksgiving;
Remembering you are salt,
In Christ Jesus who is living.
See that no one takes you captive,
By philosophy vain deceit;
Human traditions that you live,
Not as the spiritual elite.
For within Him the whole fullness,
Dwells bodily of deity;
Which is shielding from the darkness,
Which will build your ability.
Because you have been filled with Christ,
Which rules with the authority;
Who is the Head that has enticed,
Throughout all of eternity.
