I thank God in my remembrance,
Always in every prayer of mine;
Through the hardship and incumbrance,
That tries to subdue the Divine.
I am making my prayer with joy,
For you in making a request;
That you are able to employ,
With methods in doing your best.
Your fellowship in the Gospel,
From the first time until today;
Confident to reach the people,
Showing how to trust and obey.
For he who began a good deed,
Will bring it to a completion;
God will give you all that you need,
For an abundant repletion.
So it is right for me to feel,
Because I hold you in my heart;
Partakers of spiritual zeal,
Having the grace as to impart.
Because the Lord is my witness,
As I yearn for the affection;
To maintain spiritual fitness,
Avoiding earthly addiction.
For it is my prayer that your love,
May abound yet as more and more;
With the knowledge from up above,
In all judgment being at the core.
Approve things that are excellent,
For that day be pure and blameless;
Without offense being prudent,
Filled with the fruit of righteousness.
