Put to death the earthly in you,
The passionate idolatry;
Evil desires that you construe,
The hatred and the bigotry.
On account of these comes the wrath,
From God who is disobedient;
For He will be blocking your path,
Because you have been defiant.
For in which you walk for some time,
Living a lifestyle in them;
Rest assured you pay for your crime,
On Judgment Day He will condemn.
Put away the wrath and slander,
All the obscene talk that you speak;
No more let your mind meander,
Rather only to the Lord seek.
Do not lie to one another,
Put off the old man with his deeds;
Always be kind to each other,
Remembering all of their needs.
Renew knowledge as a new man,
Thinking just like your creator;
While following His command,
Let Christ be your mediator.
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew,
Circumcised nor uncircumcised;
In all Jesus Christ remains true,
Let Him always be emphasized.
