He And I
We took a walk
Just he and I.
We try to talk
We're both so shy.
This is all so new,
I could almost cry.
I've never seen blue,
As blue as this sky.
He takes my hand
As he points out new sights.
What a beautiful land
With earthmoving nights.
I listen to him
As he explains to me,
Where he has been,
And what we will see.
His voice so soft yet strong,
He's talking to me.
I've waited so long
For this day to be.
We walk to a meadow
Where we'll stop to eat.
What a wonderful fellow
He spreads out a sheet.
I look all around
It's hard to conceive.
Beauty so profound
You wouldn't believe.
We eat food he prepared,
as he poured our wine,
The desert we shared,
We relax as we dined.
Tired from our walk,
Relaxed from our meal,
Theirs no need to talk,
This hardly seems real.
Lying in his arms
He looks in my eyes.
So infected by his charm
My hopes start to rise.
His words cast a spell
So intoxicating to me
I cant wait until
This all comes to be.
Just a lovely fantasy. A girl can dream right? lol
