America Weeps
She looks at the way
in which she was first made
and the sacrifice that came
for her to be laid.
Through the years as she
watched things come and go
the struggles a nation makes
in which for her to grow.
She notices though after sometime
things just gradually forgotten
now new ideas come to surface
not really caring just how rotten.
America weeps for those who
make her land vital for you and me
and she weeps for even more
for the cost of losing free.
