Well I am on my holidays once again
Although travelling down is quite a pain,
It is a long way for a little thing like me
I`m on the floor in the back and I can`t see.
Well this year I am really quite posh
I have my own pool in which I can slosh,
It is really quite refreshing when it`s so hot
After that I can then find a shady spot.
Today was a complete turn up for the books
I can tell you I did get some funny looks,
Well I can draw a crowd that is for sure
No one ever seen a tortoise on a surf board before?
I am only a novice I have to say
But I think I did well on my first day,
Who knows tomorrow I could be on a jet ski
But then again we will have to wait and see.
Naah!! One step at a time I think is best
On the surf board I`ll put all my skills to the test,
It will take time to master this fine art
Then I bet it will be time for us to depart.
