I do not want you unaware,
Ignorant of the mystery;
Rather than wanting me to share,
A partial hardened history.
In this way, you all will be saved,
There shall come a Deliverer;
Abolish sin from those enslaved,
If confessed will shine His favor.
For this will be His covenant,
With them to take away your sin;
As you become obedient,
As His Spirit cleanses within.
The Word is a foe for your sake,
But beloved by your forefathers;
As your repentance will then make,
You and Jesus to be Brothers.
Past times you were disobedient,
But now you have mercy and grace;
Your faith gives the ingredient,
That you are feeling His embrace.
God concludes that in unbelief,
He might have mercy upon all;
Allowing spiritual relief,
To those who respond to His call.
The depths of riches and wisdom,
Along with the knowledge of God;
Corrupted ways to His Kingdom,
Determines that you would be flawed.
Who has known the mind of the Lord,
Or who has been His counselor;
Anyone not in one accord,
Ignores that He is the ruler.
Who has first given us a gift,
That expects not to be repaid;
A salvation that will uplift,
Always there to render you aid.
From Him and through Him are all things,
And to Him be glory forever;
For eternal life that He brings,
Through a love that will not sever.
